Exploring Advertising and the Creative Economy
The Industry and Parliament Trust, in partnership with the Advertising Association, is delighted to invite parliamentarians to attend an Industry Visit to four companies within the creative industries, which will allow attendees to garner a greater understanding of how Britain’s creative industries contribute to the economy.
Parliamentarians will have the chance to visit: BBH, a global creative agency, advertisers Ridley Scott Associates, Smoke and Mirrors visual effects and full service post-production company, and finally YouTube, a Google company.
On this visit, parliamentarians will:
- Learn more and be shown examples of successful advertising campaigns
- Observe how advertising productions are developed, and invest into the skills and infrastructure within the creative industries
- Learn more about special and visual effects used in advertising
- Find out how different organisations are empowering the next generation of creative talent.
