On Wednesday 14th May 2014, the Industry and Parliament Trust (IPT) hosted a dinner entitled ‘The Global Outlook for Energy’, exploring international energy trends and their implications for policy both at present and in the future.
The IPT hosted a dinner last night in the House of Commons chaired by Mary Creagh MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Transport with the CEO of Stagecoach, Martin Griffiths, speaking about the future of the railway in the UK.
On Thursday 8th May 2014 parliamentarians, industry representatives and tech start-ups gathered in Parliament to take part in an IPT/Google workshop entitled ‘Just Google It: What’s Next for the Start-Up Generation’, exploring the future of tech start-ups in London and the UK.
On 29th April 2014, a group of Commissioners from the Sustainable Food Supply Chain Commission visited the Sodexo head office in London.
On Wednesday 7th May 2014 a cross group of parliamentarians and commissioners visited the Coca-Cola Enterprises in North London as part of a series of industry visits exploring the challenges of food supply chains.
Forming part of a series of industry visits for the Sustainable Food Supply Chain Commission, the Industry and Parliament Trust, Food Ethics Council and the University of Warwick led a Commissioners’ visit to McCain Foods’ manufacturing site in Peterborough, on 1 May 2014.
