Today there is growing recognition of the important links between the vitality of the creative industries and the wider economy.

The UK leads the way in the cultural and creative industries and the sector accounts for around 13% of UK GDP. This area of the IPT’s programme examines how the UK can capitalise on this unique advantage and recognises the opportunities and challenges within the rise of a digital and knowledge economy.

Cultural Creative Industries Fellowship: Baroness Hamwee

Baroness Hamwee completed her Fellowship in the Cultural and Creative Industries in 2012. Her programme involved visits to the Royal Opera House, Chichester Festival Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Cambridge University, Arts Council, BP, BRIT School and Tate Modern.
