Party Manifestos: A Sector by Sector Summary

For our next blog in our Election Series, we are taking a look at the election manifestos released by seven political parties (Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats, Scottish National Party, Plaid Cymru, Green Party and the United Kingdom Independence Party).

This blog highlights the political parties' positions on key issues which are relevant to the IPT’s Autumn Term Events Programme. All the information has been taken directly from party manifestos and gives a sector by sector summary. The sectors we have chosen to focus on are energy, transport, skills and education, pensions, technology and innovation, Brexit, regional growth, and the economy. Within each sector summary are key themes which correlate to our forthcoming events.
