We were sad to hear of the passing of Dame Cheryl Gillan over the Easter weekend. The Trustee Board, CEO and IPT staff send their deepest condolences to her family and friends at the time. She had completed an IPT Fellowship in 1993 and continued to support the trust by attending events in Parliament. She began her parliamentary career in 1992, as one of only 20 female MPs serving in Parliament and went on to become the first female Secretary of State for Wales. She served on numerous committees and APPGs during her time in Parliament, bringing knowledge and passion on each one she served.
